OptOSS AI v.9.1 - Release
OptOSS AI v.9.1 is out now! This release brings targeted improvements for smarter, faster, and more autonomous network operations.
We are excited to announce the new release of OptOSS AIยฎ. This release brings new features and multiple improvements across the product, focused on improving network observability and usability of the product.
The biggest change in this release, the updated topology discovery and visualisation view, gives you the ability to view your network infrastructure at different levels and understand device connectivity layer by layer, per networking protocol (e.g. IPv4, IPv6, IBGP, etc)ย

2.1 Events Anonymisation and Denoise level for Anomaly Context window
Allows the User to choose whether to display or hide minor events (events which are part of anomaly patterns which have a relatively lower severity). Users can select the amount of "noiseโ permitted in the events view. Users can accordingly see the big picture or reveal even the tiniest of details .
โ
The History View has been updated. The view now supports filtering and grouping by sensors/protocols. This allows users to show/hide each protocol and group sensors by type. This new feature is useful when working with large amounts of sensor data and keeps clutter away from virtual desktops.
In OptOSS AI, it has been (and still is) possible to assign a custom name to clusters. Now the system shows an โinfoโ symbol before the name in the cluster view, informing the user that the โsystem nameโ has been manually changed by an operator.
This new feature allows easy and rapid troubleshooting, and helps with detection of mislabeled clusters due to erroneous application of the incorrect custom names.
The โMask/Obfuscate descriptionsโ option has been added in the Events View to mask or obfuscate sensitive details, helping keep the view clear and secure.
The collector component of OptOSS AI which works in the background on the backend sideย has been enhanced to process even invalid message formats. Such messages will be shown now in the events list for the known and managed devices regardless of format correctness. This will give the operator a complete picture of what is happening in their network even for the messages which deviate from the expected format. This new feature improves visibility for our AI, which will see all events, even those which were trying to avoid detection.
โ
When the user selects a time period on the Canvas, the context menu provides several options, including a new option for clearing the selection. This option was not easily identifiable before. However, the old shortcut for experienced users still exists - just click once in the ruler space, and selection will be cleared with one click.
โ
Improved highlighting helps with easy identification of repeating anomalies and shows how these anomalies are distributed across the monitored network.
