Significant Telecom Network Outages 2023-2024
Dive into the biggest telecom outages of 2023–2024 — their root causes, financial and operational impact, and how AI-driven solutions could detect, mitigate, or even prevent such incidents.
We are excited to announce the new release of OptOSS AI®. This release brings new features and multiple improvements across the product which are specifically designed to support Autonomous and Intelligent AI Network operations.
Administrators can manage trigger action scripts for domain instances from a new dedicated view while Operators will be shielded from the technicalities of the backend system side script deployment details. Now Users can select and assign the required trigger action script to the target cluster. This new feature improves the system security and simplifies operations.
It is now possible to select multiple trigger action scripts and assign them to a target cluster. The process is straightforward and user-friendly - simply choose the desired scripts from the list of registered ones. The trigger action scripts will be executed in parallel by the backend engine when a new anomaly appears which belongs to the respective cluster.
Bulk editing for multiple devices is now possible. Operators can apply or adjust tags, change comments or make departmental assignments for tens of thousands of devices with ease. Authorised Users can manage parameters across a group of selected devices in the Device Control View:
A new notification route has been added to the Intelligent Notifier module. It enables new integration options with North Bound systems such as an external issue tracking or CRM systems via secure REST API. This allows for the creation, resolution, and tracking of issues according to pre-defined comprehensive business logic and assures adherence to the organisation processes, SLAs, and supports Autonomous operations and Close-Loop operations enabling complex service lifecycles.
Using NETCONF and YANG provides a standardised and flexible way to manage network devices, making it easier to automate configuration, inventory and status collection, troubleshoot issues, and ensure interoperability between different vendors and devices when managing complex multi-technology IT environments.
This new Advanced AI KP visualises failing to communicate pairs of IP sources and destinations, which were blocked by your firewalls. The additional Sankey chart provides per port viewing with options for filtering and sorting, providing for quick analysis of the massive datasets produced by many popular firewall vendors.
Helps monitor the status of backend processes in production deployments of OptOSS AI.
The discovery module of OptOSS AI now can effectively discover IPv6 networks in addition to IPv4 networks.
And multiple other useful improvements and corrections were added in this version.
